Cecilia's Review of the Omega 8004 and Omega 8006 Single Auger Juicer

I have used the Omega 8006 Single Auger Juicer many times and it has become one of my favorite juicers!

The Omega 8006 or the Omega 8004 Single Auger Juicer is hands down the easiest juicer to clean! If ease of cleaning is high on your priority list, then this is the juicer for you. The ease of cleaning is because of the small size of the screen, with the brush provided you really just need to scrubb it a few times under running water and you're done. The rest of the parts you pretty much just need to run under water!

I also like the Omega 8006 Single Auger Juicer because of it's chrome and black exterior which make it a stylish addition to your kitchen countertop. Besides looking great it is actually a great juicer! It does hard root vegetables, celery, apples, leafy greens, and wheat grass easily. It also does some of the fun stuff like fruit sorbets when you push frozen fruits through and it makes nut pates when you put soaked nuts and seeds through with the blank screen provided.

The one thing the Omega 8006 or the Omega 8004 Single Auger Juicer and most single auger juicers don't well is soft fruits like tomatoes, grapes, peaches, oranges. . .(etc.) This can be remedied by alternating with a hard vegetable such as celery or carrots. However, I do not recommend the Omega 8006 if you plan on juicing a high volumne of soft fruits.

If you are looking for a juicer to do primarily fruits I recommend the Omega 4000, or if you would like a juicer to do both fruits and leaft greens I highly recommend, the Omega vrt350.

However, if juicing soft fruits isn't your thing (you're all about the greens!) then I recommend with no reservations Omega 8006 or the Omega 8004 Single Auger Juicer!
