Raw Almond Butter Smoothie Recipe

I love celery, apples, and raisins dipped in raw almond butter as a quick snack, so I thought, why not put them all together in a smoothie recipe? The result is a hearty smoothie reminiscent of oatmeal cookies. Use it to fuel your mornings with almond butter goodness.

Can’t find raw almond butter at your local grocery store? No worries, get it here. You’ll also need a powerful blender such as the Vitamix to get the perfect smoothie consistency.

Raw Almond Butter Smoothie Recipe

2 ripe bananas (fresh or frozen)
2 ribs celery
1 small fuji apple (cored)
¼ cup seedless raisins
1 heaping tablespoon raw almond butter
½ teaspoon powdered cinnamon
1 cup water
pinch white stevia powder (optional)
ice (optional)

Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Makes about 3 cups. Serves 1-2. Hope you enjoy this raw almond butter smoothie recipe!

Outstanding! Can we add a date instead of the Stevia?

Sure Jack, you can add a date or two to the smoothie instead of the stevia powder. The stevia powder is optional, I just like to use it because it adds an extra touch of sweetness. Thanks for stopping by. ~ Cecilia
