For breakfast I make my own cearal using raw oats and I add dried fruit such as apricots, cranberries, raisins and also some sunflower seeds or walnuts. I also mix in about a quareter of a teaspoon of cinnimon. Instead of regular milk, I use cocoanut milk. It is satisfying and not as expensive as buyiing it ready-made from the store.

I am a Type 1 Diabetic and I have had it for 17 years. I have seen great results by eating raw. I also am trying something new right now to control my bloodsugars better. I am doing one of those 60 day juice fasts where I only eat raw fruits and veggies that are blended. I have seen AMAZING results on my bloodsugars and have seen an overall decrease in my insulin usage by 60%! Now those are results! I would invite any diabetic out there to try it for at least 10 days and see the results for themselves. For some ideas on how you can do it yourself, just follow me on my website www.imjuicing.com. Good luck with your healthy living!

Look everywhere you can for a used one! I bought one (stainless model carafe) for $125 many years ago. And last year I sold one for a friend for $75 (also stainless).
You really do not need the rheostat: 2 speeds are sufficient for everything. Some buy on EBay.....I dunno 'bout that. Love and good luck.

Thank you for offering this video ~ Just starting to learn about the raw living life and stumbled upon your site. Can't wait to try out this juice tomorrow, along with other recipes you have offered! Love the fact that my Vita-Mix will now get to participate in more than just my morning smoothie. Also, Mahalo for mentioning the bag ~ I was wondering what the best way to remove the pulp for certain juices would be... now, my next step is learning what to do with the pulp. Aloha, Adaire
